ERPlora is a modular business management system. Your Hub contains the tools, users and data for one business, while the Cloud account identifies who is allowed to access it.
Sign in for the first time
On a new or untrusted device:
- Open your Hub URL or the ERPlora application.
- Sign in with the email address and password of your ERPlora Cloud account.
- Enable Trust this device if it is a private work device.
- Choose and confirm a 4-digit PIN when prompted.
- ERPlora opens the Hub and creates a local session with the permissions assigned to your user.
PIN access is only available after the device has been trusted. On a new device, or after clearing the browser's site data, sign in with email and password again.
Return with your PIN
On a trusted device:
- Select your user if more than one person uses the device.
- Enter your 4-digit PIN.
- Use the Email tab whenever you need to sign in with Cloud credentials instead.
The PIN belongs to a local Hub user. It does not replace the email and password of the Cloud account.
There is no general setup wizard
ERPlora does not run a multi-step setup wizard after login. Configuration is contextual:
- The dashboard shows a notice when an installed module requires configuration.
- An administrator can open the notice and complete that module's settings.
- Business identity, language, currency, permissions and data tools are managed from Settings.
- Additional capabilities are installed from Apps.
Find your way around the Hub
- Home — widgets from installed modules, recent activity and terminal status.
- Employees — Hub users, roles and permissions.
- Files — files and attachments stored by the Hub and its modules.
- Billing — plan and billing information for the Hub.
- Apps — installed modules and the module catalog.
- System — runtime, storage, connection and diagnostic information.
- Settings — personal preferences and Hub-wide configuration.
The top bar also provides the app launcher, the ERPlora Assistant and notifications. Inside a module, its own sections appear in the module's tab bar.
Recommended first checks
If you are the administrator:
- Open Settings → Hub and confirm language, currency and appearance.
- Open Settings → Business and complete the legal and fiscal identity used by invoices.
- Review the dashboard for modules that still need configuration.
- Open Apps to confirm which modules are installed and available for your plan.
ERPlora is Hub Cloud: a web app you open in a browser, with its database hosted in the Cloud environment managed by ERPlora. There is nothing else to install to use the ERP. There is a single installable ERPlora app for desktop and Android — the same Hub, packaged — and it is what reaches point-of-sale hardware.
Hub Cloud in a browser
Hub Cloud runs in a current desktop or mobile browser and requires an internet connection. Open the Hub URL supplied for your business and complete the sign-in flow described in First access and navigation.
For the best experience, keep the browser updated and allow the Hub to store site data. Private browsing and automatic site-data deletion can remove the trusted-device state.
Install Hub Cloud as an app (PWA)
After login, ERPlora can offer a native-style installed view. This is the same Hub, but it opens from its own icon without normal browser bars.
- Chrome or Edge: use Install app from the address bar or browser menu.
- Android: use Install app or Add to Home screen.
- iPhone or iPad: open the browser's Share menu and choose Add to Home Screen.
Installing the PWA does not automatically trust the device. Device trust is created through the email sign-in flow.
Hardware: the installed app
To print thermal receipts or open the cash drawer, install the ERPlora app on the machine that reaches the printer. There is no separate agent and nothing to pair: it is the same Hub, and it works over the local network. See Printing and hardware for the details.
Using several devices
Hub Cloud supports several devices connected to the same Hub; trust each work device separately. They all share the same Hub database in the Cloud environment, so there is nothing to copy or synchronize between devices.
Getting started
Don't have a Hub yet? On the ways to try ERPlora page you can create a free cloud Hub or download the ERPlora app. Both paths go through the free signup.
Receipt printers and cash drawers are reached through the ERPlora app, the installable version of the Hub for desktop and Android. It is the same Hub you already use in the browser, so there is no separate agent to install and no device to pair: while the app is open on a machine that can see the printer, that machine can print.
Supported connection model
ERPlora's hardware model is based on the local network:
- Use network/LAN receipt printers that support ESC/POS.
- Connect the cash drawer to the receipt printer's drawer port when supported.
- Keep the device running the app and the printers on the same reliable local network.
USB and Bluetooth printer transport are not part of the supported model.
What prints where
- Documents — A4 invoices, listings, reports — print from any browser through its normal print dialog.
- Thermal receipts need the installed ERPlora app on a device that reaches the printer. A Hub opened in a plain browser tab cannot drive a receipt printer.
This is the practical reason to install the app on the till, even though the Hub itself works fine in a browser.
Check the connection
- Open System for runtime and connection diagnostics.
- Confirm that the device running the app is on the same network as the printer.
- Configure document routing inside the module that produces the receipt, order or invoice.
If hardware options appear as Disabled, the integration is not enabled for that Hub. Installing random drivers or changing ports will not enable it.
Before you print
Check that:
- The printer is powered on and reachable on the same network.
- The printer supports ESC/POS and has a stable network address.
- The device with the ERPlora app installed is open and on that network.
- The correct printer or document destination is selected in the relevant module.
- The user has permission to perform the operation that produces the document.
Cash drawers
A compatible drawer normally connects to the receipt printer, not directly to the device. The module completing the cash operation sends the open command to the assigned printer, which releases the drawer.
If hardware stops working
- Confirm that normal Hub pages still load.
- Check the diagnostics in System.
- Verify power, Ethernet/Wi-Fi and the printer's network address.
- Restart the ERPlora app and the printer if the network is healthy but the device remains unavailable.
- Contact Support with the Hub, terminal, printer model and the failed operation.
You can get the app from the downloads page.
Modules add business capabilities to a Hub. The live catalog in Apps is the source of truth for what is available, installed and included in your plan.
Open an installed module
You can open installed modules in two places:
- Use the app-grid button in the top bar from any page.
- Open Home → Installed to see the modules available in the Hub.
Each module owns its screens and may expose a tab bar for areas such as overview, records and settings.
Browse the catalog
Open Apps and use its three views:
- My modules — installed modules and their current state.
- Catalog — modules available to the Hub.
- Paid — modules that require a purchase or subscription.
Search by name or description and open a module to review its purpose before installing it. Availability and price come from the Cloud catalog; this guide does not maintain a separate module list.
Install a module
An administrator can start installation from the catalog. ERPlora then resolves the package, verifies it and installs any required dependencies. Some modules request capabilities such as network, printer, certificate or notification access; review the consent screen before granting them.
After installation:
- The module appears in the app launcher and My modules.
- If required settings are missing, the dashboard shows a configuration notice to administrators.
- Module capabilities can be reviewed later in Settings → Permissions.
Activate, deactivate or remove
Lifecycle actions are available from My modules when supported. Read the confirmation carefully before disabling or removing a module, especially when it already contains business data. If the expected action is unavailable, the module may be required by another module or controlled by the Hub's plan.
ERPlora Assistant
The Assistant is a core Hub capability, not a Marketplace module. Open it with the sparkle icon in the top bar. It can only use operations exposed by the Hub and still respects the current user's permissions.
ERPlora separates the Cloud account from the users who work inside a Hub:
- The Cloud account uses email, password and any required second factor to identify the account holder.
- A Hub user is local to one Hub and receives a role, permissions and an optional 4-digit PIN for trusted-device access.
How PIN access works
PIN is a quick return method, not the first credential on an unknown device.
- Sign in with email and password on the new device.
- Select Trust this device.
- Choose and confirm a 4-digit PIN.
- On later visits, select your user and enter that PIN.
If the device is no longer trusted, the PIN entry is not offered. Use the Email tab, sign in again and recreate device trust. Never share a PIN between employees.
Employees and login users
An employee or staff record does not automatically grant access to the Hub. A person who needs to sign in must also have a Hub user with an assigned role. This keeps operational staff data separate from authentication and permissions.
Administrators manage access from Employees:
- Create or update Hub users.
- Assign roles.
- Review the permissions supplied by installed modules.
- Disable access when a person should no longer enter the Hub.
- Manage API keys where that feature is available.
Roles and permissions
Roles are local to the Hub. Their permissions come from the core Hub and the modules currently installed, so the available permission list changes with the Hub's capabilities.
Use the least access required for the job. Only owner or administrator roles should change Hub-wide settings, users, module permissions or fiscal credentials.
If a user cannot sign in
- PIN screen is missing: the device is not trusted or no PIN-enabled Hub user is available.
- PIN is rejected: confirm the selected user; then use email sign-in if the PIN must be reset.
- A page is missing: verify the user's role and the permissions of the relevant module.
- The user no longer exists: an administrator must recreate or reactivate the Hub user; cached browser data cannot restore one.
Open Settings to manage personal preferences and Hub-wide configuration. Some controls are read-only unless your local role is owner or administrator.
Hub
The Hub area contains:
- Your language on this device.
- Timezone, country and interface appearance.
- Hub-wide currency, default language and brand palette.
- Optional internal API documentation.
- Hardware and printing status when that integration is enabled.
Personal language and appearance can differ by user. Currency, default language and the Hub palette affect the whole Hub and require administrator access.
Store
Store settings describe the business type and regional presentation used by the Hub. Module-specific workflows remain inside each module's own settings.
Business
Complete the legal and fiscal identity used by invoices and country-specific compliance modules:
- Tax identifier (NIF, VAT number or local equivalent).
- Legal business name.
- Fiscal address.
- Fiscal signing certificate when required by an installed compliance module.
Do not upload a personal certificate. The certificate belongs to the business represented by the Hub.
Receipts
Receipt options control presentation and output defaults. The fiscal meaning of an invoice or simplified receipt is managed by the installed invoicing and compliance modules.
Permissions
Modules can request explicit capabilities such as internet access, printer access, notifications or use of a fiscal certificate. Capabilities are denied until an administrator grants them. Review this area after installing a module and revoke access that is no longer necessary.
Data
Use the Data area for the Hub's supported export and import workflows. To move or restore information, use these export, import and backup tools.
Before a large import or a destructive lifecycle action:
- Export or back up the current data using the available Hub tools.
- Confirm that the file belongs to the same business and compatible Hub version.
- Review the import summary before applying it.
Backup schedules and retention depend on the product and installed capabilities; they are not implied simply by opening Settings.
Access
Why do I see email and password instead of the PIN pad?
PIN access is only shown on a trusted device with at least one PIN-enabled Hub user. Sign in with your Cloud email and password, enable Trust this device, and create the 4-digit PIN when prompted.
Is there a setup wizard after login?
No. The dashboard shows targeted notices only for installed modules that still require configuration. Hub-wide information is managed in Settings.
What happens if I clear browser data?
The device may lose its trusted state and cached user presentation. Sign in with email and password again. The runtime remains the authority for which Hub users exist.
Products and devices
Does ERPlora require internet?
Yes. Hub Cloud is a web app and needs an internet connection to work.
Can several devices use the same Hub?
Yes. Hub Cloud supports multiple devices connected to the same Hub; each device must complete its own trust flow. They all share the same Hub database in the Cloud environment.
Can I install ERPlora like an app?
Hub Cloud opens in the browser and can be installed as a PWA from a supported browser. There is also a single installable ERPlora app for desktop and Android — the same Hub, and the one that reaches receipt printers and cash drawers; see Ways to try ERPlora.
Modules
Where are the modules?
Use the app-grid button in the top bar, Home → Installed, or Apps → My modules. Use the Catalog tab to discover more.
Why can I not install or configure a module?
Check that your local role is owner or administrator, that the module is available for the Hub's plan, and that any required dependencies and permissions are satisfied.
Data and support
Where is the business data stored?
Hub Cloud stores the business database in ERPlora's managed Cloud environment.
How do I report a problem?
Open Support and include:
- The Hub and page where the problem occurred.
- The user action you were performing.
- The exact error message.
- Device, browser or app version.
- Whether the issue affects one user or everyone.
Never include passwords, PINs, recovery codes or private signing keys in a support message.
